The SK series liquid ring vacuum pump is suitable for pumping or pressurizing gases and other gases that are non-corrosive, insoluble in water, and free of solid particles. This creates a vacuum or pressure in a closed container to meet the requirements of specific processes, covering industries such as machinery, chemical engineering, ceramics, petroleum, metallurgy, printing and dyeing, and sugar refining.
The SK series water ring vacuum pump is a widely used vacuum device in the industrial field. It is highly efficient and reliable, and is mainly used to pump air and other gases that are non-corrosive, insoluble in water, and contain a small amount of solid particles.
Working Principle
The impeller of the SK series water ring vacuum pump is eccentrically installed in the pump body. When the impeller rotates, the water forms a rotating water ring on the inner wall of the pump body under the action of centrifugal force. In the first half of the rotation, the inner surface of the water ring gradually separates from the hub, forming a closed space with the water ring between the impeller blades. As the impeller rotates, the space gradually enlarges, the gas pressure in the space decreases, and the gas is sucked in. In the second half of the rotation, the inner surface of the water ring gradually approaches the hub, the space between the blades gradually decreases, and the gas pressure in the space increases. When the pressure is higher than the exhaust port pressure, the gas between the blades is discharged.
