The BD2 series belongs to the dual - displacement crankshaft radial piston motors. It has displacement ratios of 1:2, 1:3, and 1:4. The change between high - and low - displacement can occur dynamically if the hydraulic circuit can avoid cavitation and back pressure. The motors can handle power supplied in torque or speed according to working conditions.
 
The BD2 series adopts a five - cylinder crankshaft design. It utilizes an innovative sliding central bearing arrangement, made possible by the latest materials and manufacturing techniques. This design increases the range of options, including the ability to change displacement by altering the stroke of the crankshaft, fit taper roller bearings for axial load capability, have a hollow through - shaft option, and fit a counterbalance weight to smooth out high - speed vibration.
